THE VOICE OF THE WARRIORS

From 1984 until the present, every Warrior game home and away can be heard on Golden West Radio.  The very first play by play broadcaster was Rob Carnie.  After Rob’s long and glorious career, Drew Haubrich took over for 3 years.  Next up, Randy Merkley made the game come alive over the radio for 2 years. 

The Warriors current play by play man is none other than James Gallo.  Gallo learned from the best, doing color with both Drew and Randy as well as hosting duties with Mr. Carnie.  James has been the play-by-play voice for the last 5 seasons, bringing you many “oh baby’s” and clever phrases to make listening to a game nearly as exciting as being at the arena.
