Warriors Survive Bear Scare
The Warriors received a bear scare on saturday night after the Chilliwack Bruins almost overcame a three goal deficit... but in the end, Moose Jaw hung on for the 3-2 win. First star Ryan Stanton led the way with two goals and strong defensive play while Dylan Hood scored his 20th of the season to give Moose Jaw a 3-0 lead after one. But goals by Jamie Crooks and Roman Homak made things close at 3-2 after two. In the third, the Bruins put plenty of pressure on the Warriors, but Jeff Bosch shut the door, making 33 saves and earning third star honours. With the win, the Warriors now have 71 points. One point up on the Swift Current Broncos for seventh, six points up on Prince Albert who are currently in ninth, out of the playoffs.
Next up, the Warriors head out on a three game road trip, first off, they try to weather the storm tuesday in Lethbridge versus the Hurricanes.
