A GIANT UPSET
The Giants may be ranked 2nd in the Western Conference-- but tonight the Warriors took home a GIANT 2-0 win. Spencer Edwards opened up the game with a short handed goal on Mark Segal. The Warriors would defend their zone perfectly to wrap up the first period.
Second period kept Vancouver scoreless with the Warriors hanging on to a one goal lead. The final period of play would show just how good the line of Edwards, Paradis and Smuk could be, with Jesse Paradis from Ryan Stanton hitting the back of Segal's net. Two goals would be all the Warriors needed to get a much needed 2 points.
Jeff Bosch was on tonight, turning away 36 shots and keeping the crowd begging for more quick glove saves and head turning stops. The Warriors will face the Chilliwack Bruins Saturday Night for the final game of the Iron Man Challenge.
Don't forget your skates and helmet for a post game skate with the team!
