Warriors vs Red Deer Friday
Another important East Conference battle will taking place in the Jaw Friday night. The Warriors will host the Red Deer Rebels. Red Deer is clinging on to 6th place with 62 points with the Warriors only 3 points behind in 8th place.
Rebel Coetzee leads the Rebels with 71 points. Quinton Howden is out front in Warriors scoring with 56 points. The last meeting between the two squads in Moose Jaw was back in September. The Warriors skated to a 4-1 victory. Brandon Glover made 29 saves for the win. The Warriors could not get clinch either meeting on the road, falling 4-1 and 3-1.
Thomas Frazee was the only Warriors to score in last nights game with the Kootenay Ice. Frazee along with scoring power houses, Jason Bast and Quinton Howden will look to create some offensive opportunites for the team. Keep an eye out for Spencer Edwards and Cody Smuk--- two Warriors who have been standing out for their grit and tough battles each and every night.
Jeff Bosch has had a January to remember and has claimed 4 shutouts this season. Dallas Ehrhadt, acquired from the Wheat Kings at trade deadline has been holding down the blue line along with fellow defensemen Ryan Stanton, Dylan McIlrath and Chad Suer who have been solid for the tribe.
