Director of Hockey Operations - Jeff TruittJeff Truitt has been involved in the Western Hockey League for 7 years. Three of those years, Jeff was the Head Coach of the Kelowna Rockets. Prior to his time in Kelowna, Jeff spent 2 years in Lethbridge. Last season Truitt coached in the AHL with the Springfield Falcons. Jeff was born in Moose Jaw and is excited to be back. Jeff and his wife Shauna have two children, Cale (age 8) and Kerrington (age 5). The Warriors extend a warm welcome to Jeff and his family. |

Head Coach - Dave HunchakDave Hunchak has been coaching in the Western Hockey League for 4 years. Hunchak is in his second year as the Warriors Head Coach. Prior to his time with the Warriors, Hunchak was the Assistant Coach with the Swift Current Broncos for the 2004-05 season. Hunchak has also been extensively involved with Hockey Canada and the Program of Excellence winning a gold medal as the Video Coach with the 2006 Canadian World Junior Team, a gold medal in 2006 with the Canadian National Under 18 Team at the Ivan Hlinka Cup, as well as a silver medal at the 2005 World U18 Championships. Prior to his time with the Swift Current Broncos, Hunchak was the General Manager and Head Coach of the Kindersley Klippers of the SJHL winning 2 league championships in 3 years and an appearance in the Royal Bank Cup Championship game in 2004. Hunchak was also named 2002 SJHL Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the same award 2004.

Assistant Coach- Trevor WeisgerberTrevor comes to the Warriors after spending the 09/10 season with the Kindersley Klippers as the Assistant Coach. Trevor played seven years of professional hockey with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, Rocky Mountain Rage, and San Angelo Saints. In his professional career, Trevor accumulated 345 points. Trevor’s Midget hockey career began in Moose Jaw with the AAA’s and the Swift Current Legionnaires. From there he played Junior Hockey with the Beardy’s. He later joined the Yorkton Terriers, where he was named top scorer with 105 points.

Athletic Therapist - Curtis AmiotCurtis Amiot joined the Warriors staff as Athletic Therapist midway through the 2005-06 WHL season. Curtis’ main duties include the conditioning and rehabilitation of all Warrior players. Curtis has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Alberta and has acquired an advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy and is certified under the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association. Prior to joining the Moose Jaw Warriors, Curtis was the Athletic Therapist for the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL.
