Warriors Break Winning Streak at Home
The Moose Jaw Warriors faced the number one ranked, Saskatoon Blades in their first meeting of the season. Stephan Elliott scored right out of the gates; only 0:51 seconds into the game. Inglis ended the first period with the second Saskatoon goal to make it 2-0 Saskatoon heading into the second intermission.
The blades continued on their scoring streak, with a short handed goal at 0:42 to put the Blades up 3-0. Thomas Frazee notched the Warriors first goal of the night unassisted at 11:23. Warriors rookie, Kendall McFaull made it a 3-2 game only minutes later. The score remained at 3-2 going into the third.
Warriors sophomore, Quinton Howden made it a tie game on the first power play of the third period. The Blades would manage to sneak one last goal by Bosch to clinch the win 4-3. The Warriors now sit with a 10-6 record and will battle the blades in only two days.
