The Moose Jaw Warriors made it six straight wins at home with a 2-1 win over the Kamloops Blazers tonight. The Warriors out shot the Blazers a whopping 37-14. Travis Hamonic opened the night with a bullet over Leclerc’s head. Warriors import, Jakub Herman came out of tonight’s match up with two assists—his best showing so far this season.

Hardest working Warrior of the night was Cody Smuk. Travis Hamonic received 2nd star with Jesse Paradis earning the top spot.
Tonight was also the launch of the Warriors PINK Campaign—helping to raise money for Cancer research. Each Warriors player designed their own personalized PINK tee to be auctioned off over the next two weeks. As a wonderful surprise, Brad Delorey of Mosaic and Darlene Geib of the Heritage Inn purchased the entire set of tee’s for $5000.00. They graciously donated them back to the club to continue to auction off. A big thank you to KCS Marketing and Andy’s Transmission for donating and sponsoring the tee’s. Check out the COMMUNITY link of the webpage and choose PINK Tees to view and bid on all tee’s.
The second intermission had two contestants take to the ice and attempt to score on the net using only Direct West squishy pucks and mini sticks! Jordan made his final shot to win a fleece blanket and other great prizes from Direct West.
Tonight was also ugly blazer night! Fans were encouraged to wear their ugliest blazers for a chance at great prizes.
