Warriors Storm Over Hurricanes

Warriors continue their strong start to the season Sunday night doubling up the Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-3. Dylan Hood got things started with the lone goal in the first. The Warriors dominated the first period out shooting Lethbridge 15 to 7. In the second period, the bounces finally went Moose Jaw way as they racked up four goals, two of them on the power play. 

 

Lethbridge did beat Brandon Glover once heading into the second intermission. In the third, Jesse Paradis would add one more. Lethbridge would score a pair but it would be too little too late. Warriors win their third straight with Dylan Hood leading the way with 3 points and was names first star.

 

Tonight’s game sponsor, Country 100 gave fans a chance to win the Ultimate Hockey Road Trip. Three contestants attempted to find the lucky Country 100 puck out 50 pucks scattered across the ice.  Country 100 also gave one fan a prize package complete with cd’s and vouchers. 

 

Seven contestants competed in the McKarr’s Musical Recliner contest. Our winner, Paul will come back in February to try take home his Toronto Maple Leafs recliner. Next up for the Warriors, Kamloops on Tuesday--- where it will be ugly blazer night. Wear your ugliest blazer and you could win fantastic prizes.
