Warriors Open With a Big Win
The Warriors opened the 2009/2010 seaon with a landslide win against the the PA Raiders 7-2. Hamonic started off the game with a bullet over Zemlack's shoulder. Howden then put the Warriors up to 2-0 with assists from Bast and Hood. Warriors third goal from Paradis and the fourth from Edwards put the score at 4-0. Rowinski ended the second period with a one timer to make the game 5-0.
Raider, Cameron ended Bosch's shutout early in the 3rd. Howden got the Warriors back on the board with help from Hood. Raiders Aasman scored on Bosch at 2:34 into the third. Rowinski ended the game with the Warriors final goal. Bosch spent the entire night in net.
The hardest working Warrior of the night was Dylan Hood. The three stars were 1. Quinton Howden, 2. Joey Kornelson and 3. Travis Hamonic.
The Warriors gave away many great prizes including a Caribbean Cruise Getaway from Marlin Travel. The Civic Centre was filled with excited fans as the Warriors 25th Anniversay season got underway. 2066 fans came out the the Season Opener.
