Warriors Dominate Home and Home
September 5th v. Swift Current (Pre-Season)
The Moose Jaw Warriors took home a 5-3 win taking on the Swift Current Broncos on home ice. Swift Current opened up the game with Hoban getting the Broncos on the board first. The Warriors came back with an unassisted goal from Dylan Hood. Honejsek scored at 19:05 to make the game 2-1 to end the first.
The second period began with Warriors rookie, Edwards going top shelf on goal tender Morgan Clark to put the Warriors up by 2. Swift Current answered back with two goals from Hay and Sullivan to tie it up going into the three.
The third was all Warriors, as veteran Jason Bast scored two goals in the third period to make the final score 5-3. Warriors’ goalie, Brandon Glover held the Broncos in third to see the Warriors second pre-season win.
