Raiders Sink Warriors
The Moose Jaw Warriors fell to 16-13-1-1 after a 5-1 loss Wednesday night in Prince Albert. Dylan Hood scored the only Warriors goal; Antonin Honejsek and Travis Hamonic picked up the assists. Brandon Herod led the Raiders with two goals and three points; Craig McCallum had three assists. The Warriors were 0/3 on the power play and 3/5 on the penalty kill. The Warriors are 1-5-1-1 in their last eight games, and have been limited to one goal in five of the eight games. The Warriors power play hasn’t scored a goal in the last three games, and has one goal in their last four.
 
v. Edmonton
Tonight is third meeting of the season between the Warriors and Edmonton Oil Kings, and the first at the Civic Center. Moose Jaw is 1-1 against Edmonton, winning their last meeting 3-2 in overtime on November 28th.
Jason Bast leads the Warriors with two goals against Edmonton; Spencer Edwards and Quinton Howden have a goal and two points each; Travis Hamonic and Ryan Stanton have two assists each; Dylan Hood has one goal; Brandon Glover is 1-0 with a 1.90gaa and .931sv%; Jeff Bosch is 0-1 with a 3.06gaa and .875sv%.

Hamonic Gets World Junior Invite
Moose Jaw Warriors Travis Hamonic received an invitation to Canada’s World Junior Selection Camp for the upcoming IIHF 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships. Hamonic is currently the WHL’s leading defensemen with 34 points in 29 games. Hamonic attended the World Junior camp last season but was one of several cuts. 36 players received invitations to Canada’s camp, 10 WHL skaters will make their way to Regina when camp begins December 12th.
 
Warriors to U17 Hockey Challenge
16 year old rookie forward Joey Kornelsen was named to Team Pacific for the upcoming World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Timmins, Ontario December 29th to January 4th. Kornelsen is one of 17 players from Alberta and B.C. to be named to Team Pacific. 
 
 
 
 
Warriors Ranked in Central Scouting
Four Moose Jaw Warriors found their name on the NHL’s Central Scouting Fall Preliminary rankings of the 25 WHL players for the upcoming draft. Dylan McIlrath was ranked 7th, Quinton Howden 8th, Kendall McFaull was 17th, and Brandon Glover was 6th among goaltenders.  Prince George Cougar Brett Connolly was the top ranked player, Edmonton Oil King Defenseman Mark Pysyk was 2nd, and Red Deer Rebel Alex Petrovic was 3rd.
 
Milestone Watch
-        Warriors Captain Jason Bast’s iron man streak came to an end earlier this season. Bast missed November 18th against Calgary due injury, which was the first game he’d missed since October 21st, 2006. Bast played in 228 consecutive games. He has played in 294 games with the Warriors. Bast is two goals shy of 100 for his career.
-        Travis Hamonic has played in 170 games with the Warriors.
