Warriors Blank Ice
The Moose Jaw Warriors improved to 10-4 on the season with a 1-0 win last night over the Kootenay Ice. Dylan Hood scored the games lone goal; Travis Hamonic and Ryan Stanton picked up assists; Jeff Bosch made 18 saves to record his first shutout of the season. Former Warrior goalie Todd Mathews made 34 saves in the loss. Moose Jaw was ½ on the power play and 4/4 on the penalty kill. The Warriors are on a season high five game winning streak and have won seven out of their last eight hockey games.
v. Lethbridge
Tonight is the second meeting of the season against the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the first in Lethbridge. The Warriors won their only meeting 6-3 on October 18th in Moose Jaw. The Warriors are 12-9-1-1 against Lethbridge in the last five years; posting a 5-5 record on the road in that time.

Warriors overage forward Jason Bast was named the Boston Pizza WHL Player of the Week and CHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 11th. Bast had seven goals and 12 points and was +7 for the Warriors. Bast had two goals in the Warriors 9-6 win over the Regina Pats; he had a goal and four points in the 7-6 loss to Swift Current; he had a hat trick and four points in the 6-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen; he finished off the weekend with a goal and two points in the 4-2 win over the Kootenay Ice last Sunday.
